A Chicago police officer has been placed on administrative duty after fatally shooting a teenager in the Little Village neighborhood on Chicago’s west side. The confrontation came after police responded to a call of “shots fired” around 2:00 a.m. on the morning of April 1. Body camera footage of the incident has not yet been released, but the teenager’s family and others have called for the release of the video.
