Police Misconduct: Chicago Residents can now Submit Police Misconduct Complaints Directly to State’s Attorney through Online Portal
The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office recently launched an online portal where residents can submit complaints of police misconduct. Examples of police misconduct that can be reported are excessive force, intimidation, and filing a false police report. Complaints received through the portal will be reviewed by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, which will then determine what investigative agency to send the complaint to.
