The Chicago Police Department recently filed disciplinary charges seeking to fire three officers. The grounds for the charges were that one of the officers used excessive force in punching a handcuffed suspect, and the other two lied about opening fire on a moving vehicle in west Lakeview. The reports concerning the incidents that were prepared by the Civilian Office of Police Accountability can be found here.
