Today, a new website called the Chicago Police Torture Archive was launched by the Invisible Institute, a not for profit journalism organization. The website features records detailing the torture carried out by John Burge and other officers of the Chicago Police Department under his watch. The site includes numerous interviews with Burge’s victims, and is seen as an important step in documenting the systemic torture and cover-ups that happened within the Chicago Police Department.
