ProPublica Releases Excellent Article on Inmate Healthcare in Illinois Prisons
ProPublica released an excellent article this morning about Illinois’ prison system and what inmates must go through in order to obtain medical care. The article tells the story of Illinois inmates that failed to receive adequate healthcare while in the IDOC, and also tracks the history of the prison grievance procedure in the United States.
